Amalia Bowley Fuentes joined Lozeau Drury in August 2021, after earning her law degree cum laude at UC Hastings College of the Law in 2021 with a certificate in Environmental Law.

During law school, Amalia served as a law clerk for Communities for a Better Environment, the California Department of Justice's Environment and Land Law Sections, and Sher Edling, LLP. She also clerked in UC Hastings' Social Enterprise and Economic Empowerment Clinic and served as a Spanish interpreter for the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic and the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies. She served as the Executive Development Editor of the 2020-21 Hastings Environmental Law Journal and was a board member of the Hastings Environmental Law Association and La Raza Law Students Association.

Amalia received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
