Marjan Kris Ramos Abubo joined Lozeau Drury in July 2023, after earning his law degree at UC Davis School of Law (King Hall) in 2022 with a specialization in Environmental & Natural Resources Law and Public Service Law.
During law school, Marjan clerked for Center for Biological Diversity, Natural Resources Defense Council, and the California Department of Justice's Environment and Land Conservation Sections. He also served as the Editor-in-Chief of Environs, UC Davis' Environmental Law and Policy Journal, and was a board member on the King Hall Negotiations Team and Filipinx Law Students Association. Prior to law school, Marjan worked at the intersection of law, policy, and advocacy to advocate for green space and housing developments in Southern California.
Marjan received his undergraduate degree cum laude in History with a minor in Urban and Regional Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is fluent in Tagalog.
